Alyssa Betts
Receptionist
Alyssa is our amazing receptionist and the smiling face on the end of the phone. Alyssa is the go-to for all your bookings and enquiries, and is the general organiser of all things Trend Physio.
Alyssa has years of experience and is a huge asset to the Trend Physio family - we would be lost without her!
On her days off you will find Alyssa running, adventuring with her dog April, and making memories with her friends and family.
Andrew Alexander
APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Director
With a decade of clinical experience, Andrew has developed a passion for assisting people with challenging cases. His work has taken him from stadiums, to gyms, to expert clinics, and everywhere in between. Working with International, State of Origin, NRLW and NRL level Rugby League players over the last few years has diversified his skill set and honed his on-field and return-to-sport practices.
In the clinic, his interest in Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) and headaches has been rewarding, helping many who have suffered for years. His post-graduate certificate and Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy have elevated his care of all issues, head to toe. Andrew prides his practice on holistic management using a range of techniques like dry needling, splinting, manual therapy, casting, and advanced exercise knowledge.
Phoebe Alexander
Paediatric & Disability Physiotherapist, Certified Kids Yoga Teacher, Director
Phoebe holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle and has spent the past 15 years working exclusively in paediatric and disability-focused roles.
As a proud mum of two, Phoebe has a deep understanding of infant and child development. She is passionate about empowering parents and carers with the knowledge and confidence to support their child’s progress, and regularly contributes as a guest speaker at post-natal education courses.
Phoebe is also a strong advocate for the neurodivergent community, with lived experience navigating both the NDIS and education systems. She finds genuine joy in connecting with people of all ages and supporting them to achieve meaningful movement goals.
Committed to making the Central Coast a more accessible place for individuals living with disability to be active and included, Phoebe brings energy, warmth and creativity to every session. As a certified Kids Yoga Teacher, she incorporates fun, movement and flexibility into her therapy approach.
Outside the clinic, Phoebe loves reading whenever she gets the chance — and is famously competitive at board game nights (and, honestly, most aspects of life).
Blake Harrington
Physiotherapist
Blake moved to the Central Coast from a young age and has grown up most of his life on the Central Coast. Through his younger years he participated in multiple sporting codes such as rugby league, rugby union, cricket, Oz tag and touch footy. Blake graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (honours) from University of Newcastle. During his studies he worked as an allied health assistant at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital for 3 years in the rehabilitation and orthopaedic settings.
Post graduating Blake has continued his knowledge by completing courses in musculoskeletal interests and gaining his certificate in Immediate Care in sport Level 2 Rugby Union through World Rugby and Rugby Australia.
Blake has always had an interest in physical activity and sporting worlds. Over the years Blake has worked with multiple sporting teams which has taken him from the Central Coast to interstate and internationally.
Blake has a clinical interest in shoulder injuries, lower limb injuries and injury prevention. This resulted in him developing a passion for working with clients to rehabilitate their injuries and assist them returning to their chosen activity. Blake believes a successful rehabilitation involves a collaborative approach with the client.
Liam Pattison
Physiotherapist
Liam is a Senior Physiotherapist specialising in TMJ (jaw) disorders, headaches, and neck pain. He helps people get lasting relief from jaw pain, tension headaches, migraines, and neck discomfort using a combination of hands-on treatment, custom exercises, dry needling when helpful, and clear advice on managing conditions.
In addition to his clinical work, Liam instructs on dry needling courses to other health professionals and works as an anatomy teacher at the University of Newcastle, helping train the next generation of health professionals.
Whether you're dealing with ongoing jaw problems, frequent headaches, neck pain, or other muscle and joint issues, Liam provides caring, tailored care to help you move more comfortably and live without pain.
Cody Barrett
Physiotherapist
After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Master of Physiotherapy, Cody has dedicated his time to empowering individuals navigating a wide range of developmental and neurological conditions. Cody has developed a strong interest in paediatrics and disability. He works with children, teenagers and adults to improve strength, coordination and overall participation in life.
Cody places a strong emphasis on goal-focused therapy, ensuring that each program is tailored to the unique needs and abilities of the person. He values collaboration and works closely with individuals, families, educators and other health professionals to provide holistic, integrated care. He also offers home and school visits as well as hydrotherapy sessions to make therapy accessible and meaningful in everyday environments.
Cody is committed to delivering therapy that not only improves physical function but also fosters independence and confidence in everyday life, helping people of all ages reach their goals.
Tammy Baines
Physiotherapist (Currently on Maternity Leave)
Tammy graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). She has 15 years of experience within the fitness industry as a personal trainer, and gym owner working alongside allied health professionals with populations varying from professional and amateur sports persons to general populations, and women through all life stages. Tammy has a diploma in Fitness, exercise for pre-and post natal clients, and Yoga qualifications. Tammy has represented Australia internationally for Natural Body Building, played Premier League soccer for East Gosford, and enjoys Latin dance and snowboarding.
Clinically, Tammy loves treating patients from all walk of life, and is particularly passionate about helping people achieve their health and fitness goals. She has worked with the Central Coast Mariners Academy, East Gosford Rams Premier League teams, Erina Eagles League Premier League teams, ran exercise programs for Erina High School, Terrigal High School, ET Secondary College, and currently runs her fitness business Her.Forme, empowering women through all life stages to live their strongest and healthiest life.
Tammy is a registered Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Katreena Drake
Physiotherapist
Katreena is our resident Kiwi physio (we know you won’t hold that against her!). She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours at the University of Otago in 2019.
Since moving to the Central Coast in 2020, Katreena has worked across both public and private sectors, gaining broad experience supporting individuals and families within the community.
Katreena’s passions include paediatrics, disability, and women’s health. Her driving purpose is to improve her clients’ quality of life by enhancing their physical capabilities. She enjoys working alongside her clients and their families to collaboratively achieve meaningful goals.
Outside of work, Katreena loves spending time at the beach and the gym, and has recently expanded her horizons by taking up distance running. She also loves to travel and has a sweet tooth for baking
